Arin and Whitney will be getting married in Lake Linden with a reception in the evening at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge in Copper Harbor. Lodging is available at very quaint log cabins but we highly recommend you make a reservation early if you plan to stay in Copper Harbor overnight. The Copperman Triathlon takes place the evening before and the tiny town of copper Harbor is flooded with athletes that weekend. Whitney and Arin have blocked rooms at the Keweenaw Mountain Lodge for Saturday night. The Keweenaw Mountain Lodge is not about glitz and glamour, but has a unique blend of rustic charm with a splash of class. check out the link below to see all that it offers. Copper Harbor is about 50 miles from Houghton, 35 miles from Calumet, and 40 miles from Lake Linden. Helpful links are listed below. Whitney's parents are "locals" and will be happy to help with additional questions from out of town guests. They are looking forward to seeing you all! Some Favorites:
Laurium Manor Inn : This is a very unique and historic building. They have rooms available in the Manor, the Hall, and some vacation rental homes as well.
Dapple Gray Bed and Breakfast : Located in Copper Harbor. A beautiful new log cabin structure satisfies the unique blend of rustic luxury!
Torch Lake Cabins : Not fancy--just a simple place to sleep, but close to Whitney's parent's house and the church.
Centennial Cottages : Again, not fancy, but in a good central location. There are several cottages so could be fun for several families.
